Finding Great Copy

Finding copy can be challenging these days. I never want to be too hypey or salesy, but never dry and boring either.

One thing I love doing is finding SUPER successful people who really have ‘made it’ – how do you know when they’ve made it? Well, for me it’s when I read their copy, which includes loads of testimonials and success stories.

As an entrepreneur online, we really have to manufacture our own credibility. If you’re new to the online game, but have had success in other ventures, you’ll be fine. Start gathering testimonials from people, clients, customers and your raving fans.

I just found this woman on Facebook, Ali Brown and she has an amazing sales letter filled with evidence that she, yes she, could get me what I want. When the copy is so engaging and people are pulled in, its obviously doing the job & they’ve found their ideal audience.

I just sent this link to 2 boys, 1 girl. My guess is the guys will huff it off, but the woman I sent it too will be lighting up and inspired as she reads it. Narrowing in on our audience and being very specific seems to serve us well.
